Show Hero
Apple Podcasts regularly features shows to help creators find new listeners. All featured shows require a Show Hero, which is promotional artwork that appears in a wide format at the top of the Browse Tab.
Learn more about featuring and find the Feature Request form. Please note that promotion is solely at the discretion of Apple.
What is the purpose of a Show Hero?
As the most visible feature placement, it helps listeners discover your show on Apple Podcasts.
Your Show Hero offers a bigger canvas to celebrate your show while it’s featured. Pro tip: Use art that differs from your Show Cover Art to create variety and spark interest.
Best practices
These recommendations will help you format your Show Hero artwork for Apple Podcasts. They’ll also help preserve your original design as your art comes to life in the user interface and across the platform.
Use the Show Hero template. It helps you place all essential design elements within the art safe area so they won’t be cropped or obstructed by user interface elements overlaid on top of the artwork. The template includes interface area guides to account for various placement scenarios.
Fill the entire template with art. Whether you’re using photos, illustrations, or other graphics, make sure they’re high resolution and fill the entire template.
Vertically align the logo. Ensure that your logo is vertically aligned within the safe area and doesn’t extend beyond its boundaries.
Accurately represent your show title. Your title treatment should reflect your official show name as it appears in the RSS feed. Don’t include any copy that’s not part of your podcast title.
